Centexconstruction is seeking a Mitigation Restoration Technician to join our Austin-area team. You will respond to water, fire, and mold events, assess damage, and perform restoration tasks on commercial properties.

You will operate restoration equipment, document processes for insurance claims, and coordinate with customers and insurers. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote jobsites are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mitigation/restoration experience.
• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (60 lbs.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication with customers in a professional manner.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Capable of flying to remote jobsites when requested.
• Familiarity with computers and phone applications or ability to learn quickly.

Responsabilités

• Emergency Response: Promptly responding to calls for mitigation services, assessing the situation, and taking immediate action to prevent further damage.
• Damage Assessment: Inspecting affected areas to evaluate the extent of damage and determining the appropriate restoration procedures.
• Mitigation Techniques: Implementing mitigation techniques such as water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and odor control to minimize damage and prevent further deterioration.
• Documentation: Accurately documenting all work for insurance claims and customer records.
• Equipment Operation: Operating dehumidifiers, air movers, moisture meters, and thermal imaging cameras.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols to ensure personal safety and team safety.
• Communication: Communicating with customers, insurance providers, and team members to provide updates.
• Quality Control: Ensuring restoration work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Project Manager.
