Job summary

Centex Construction and Restoration is seeking Mitigation Restoration Technicians to provide immediate response and mitigation for water, fire, mold, or other damages to commercial properties. You will inspect damage, determine remediation steps, and execute restorations in coordination with the team.

You will operate equipment, document work for insurance claims, and ensure safety while maintaining high-quality outcomes, with potential travel for extended jobs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency response: promptly respond to mitigation calls and assess situation.
• Damage assessment: inspect affected areas to determine restoration procedures.
• Mitigation techniques: apply water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and odor control.
• Documentation: record work performed for insurance claims and records.
• Equipment operation: use dehumidifiers, air movers, moisture meters, and thermal cameras.
• Safety compliance: follow safety protocols to protect team and occupants.
• Communication: update customers, insurers, and team members on progress.
• Quality control: ensure work meets industry standards and customer expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
