Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support rapid microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated lab. The role focuses on traditional and rapid methods for food safety clients, requiring meticulous attention to quality and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of microbiology experience, a related degree, and solid aseptic technique. Will work in a collaborative lab environment with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 0–3 years in microbiology or related regulated industries.
• Basic aseptic technique and lab practices.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of food products using approved methods.
• Execute rapid microbiological methods (RMM) and automated detection systems.
• Prepare media, reagents, and samples per SOPs and compendial standards.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation per cGMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Support environmental monitoring programs and investigations.
• Review data for accuracy before release.
