Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support rapid microbiological testing activities in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. You will perform a variety of microbiological analyses using traditional and rapid methods to support clients in the food safety space.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of microbiology lab experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires 0–3 years of microbiology lab experience in regulated environments.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Microbiology or related life science field.
• Strong aseptic technique and lab practices; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of food products using approved methods.
• Execute rapid microbiological methods (RMM) and automated systems.
• Prepare media, reagents, and samples per SOPs and compendial requirements.
• Conduct routine lab activities including sample receipt, incubation, and result reporting.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation in accordance with cGMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Support environmental monitoring programs and investigations.
• Participate in method validations, verifications, and tech transfer.
