Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support rapid microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated lab in Oklahoma City. The role involves traditional and rapid methods to support food safety clients.

You will prepare media, run assays, ensure data integrity, and maintain documentation. The position requires 0–3 years of relevant experience and a degree in microbiology or life sciences. Day shift; weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in microbiology or life sciences.
• 0–3 years of regulated lab experience.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of food products using approved methods.
• Execute rapid microbiological methods (RMM) and automated systems.
• Prepare media, reagents, and samples per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with cGMP/GLP.
• Operate and calibrate lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Support environmental monitoring programs and investigations.
• Review data for accuracy before release.
• Participate in method validations and tech transfer.
