Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support rapid microbiological testing activities in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. You will perform a variety of microbiological analyses using both traditional and rapid methods to support clients in the food safety space.

The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic technique and microbiological practices.
• Strong documentation and data integrity skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of food products using approved methodologies.
• Execute rapid microbiological methods (RMM) and automated systems.
• Prepare media, reagents, and samples according to SOPs and requirements.
• Conduct routine lab activities including sample receipt, processing, incubation, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation in accordance with cGMP, GLP, and data integrity requirements.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Support environmental monitoring programs and microbiological investigations.
• Participate in method validations, verifications, and technology transfer activities.
• Review data for accuracy and completeness prior to release.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of consumables.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
