Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering and architecture for MBSE-driven design in a fast-paced defense setting. You will guide requirements definition, architecture working groups, and system integration through the lifecycle.

You will leverage SysML with Cameo/MagicDraw, manage traceability, and drive modeling-based decision briefs. Onsite work in a SCIF with 10–20% travel is expected; TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE and SysML-based design and requirements management.
• Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw and DOORS.
• Hands-on scripting in Python, MATLAB, and VTL for model-based artifacts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and present technical concepts.
• U.S. Citizenship with active TS clearance and onsite work readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural and behavioral capture of high-speed architectures in SysML views.
• Oversee constrained-syntax requirements traceability and test artifact mapping.
• Develop parametric lifecycle models in scripting environments to quantify design impacts.
• Facilitate multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups.
• Conduct trade studies and prepare technical briefs and white papers.
• Create VTL scripts in Cameo to automate contracts, ICDs, and milestone reviews.
• Provide technical leadership within a matrixed team.
