Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years in a health-related field is required.
• Licensed EMT, Paramedic, or LPN in the state of TN required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates appropriate patient transfer and consult requests from referring facilities within EMTALA guidelines.
• Coordinates and facilitates direct patient admissions from physician offices and ambulatory centers.
• Schedules tele-medicine consults for emergency departments and inpatient facilities.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, hospital staff, and referring facilities with professional communication.
• Obtains accurate patient demographic and clinical information to enter into registration and eCare systems.
