Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Command Center Patient Transfer Coordinator to manage and prioritize patient transfer requests, coordinating with referring and receiving teams to ensure safe and timely transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing, paramedic, or EMT program.
• State-licensure as RN/Paramedic/EMT (Kentucky or Compact).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer, evaluate, and prioritize transfer request calls.
• Coordinate with referring/receiving providers, transport services, and hospital staff to complete transfers.
• Gather and present complete clinical information to accepting physicians.
