Job summary

Covenant Health in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Rapid Access Coordinator, Call Center to be the primary contact for referring facilities and to facilitate patient transfers and admissions.

You will gather clinical information, enter data into the registration system, and coordinate with physicians, AOC leaders, and bed management to ensure timely patient movement and care. PRN/ OCC with variable hours and shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a health-related field.
• Licensure required: EMT, Paramedic, or LPN in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate patient transfers and direct admissions per guidelines.
• Communicate with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Obtain patient demographic information and register in system.
• Schedule telemedicine consults for emergency departments.
