Responsibilities

• Feed cattle and calves according to the feeding schedule.
• Haul hay to livestock and remove net wrap from hay bales before feeding.
• Inspect, maintain, and monitor livestock water tanks and watering systems to prevent freezing.
• Chop and remove ice around livestock watering areas as needed.
• Assist with snow and ice removal to ensure safe access to feeding areas and buildings.
• Perform general shop and farm maintenance during the winter season.
• Grease, inspect, and maintain livestock feeding equipment and other farm machinery.
