Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT South Dakota seeks a Ranch/Feedlot Assistant to support daily operations across cattle and crop enterprises. You will operate feed wagons, feed cattle, and assist with general ranch tasks on a family-run operation.

Ideal candidates have feedlot and cattle handling experience, can run feed equipment independently, and are willing to drive non-CDL trucks. This is a long-term position with growth potential and housing available.

Qualifications

• Experience in feedlots and cattle handling required.
• Ability to operate feed equipment independently.
• Willingness to drive non-CDL trucks.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed wagon and daily feeding of cattle.
• Sort, process, and handle livestock.
• Drive trucks (non-CDL) for hauling feed, hay, manure and materials.
• Maintain feedlot pens: scraping, manure handling, and pen upkeep.
• Assist with general ranch and farming duties as needed.
