Job summary

Unifi is seeking a Ramp Team Lead to direct a ramp crew, marshal aircraft, load and unload baggage, and ensure safe, on-time operations. You will oversee wing walker duties, de-ice as required, and operate ramp equipment such as tugs and belt loaders.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain airport credentials. Preferred candidates have 1 year of aviation or ground handling experience and a commitment to safety and customer

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for arrivals and departures.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect the wing from equipment.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties as needed.
• Monitor and enforce safe working conditions in line with regulations and company policies.
• Complete work safely following operational standards.
