Southwest Airlines is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to lead a team of Ramp Agents and ensure aircraft arrive and depart safely and on time. You will guide the team, enforce safety rules, and keep equipment ready for use.

You’ll handle scheduling, training, and daily reports while collaborating with Airport Operations teams to resolve issues and provide timely updates. This role emphasizes people leadership and delivering consistent, safe, on-time service every day.

Qualifikationen

• Fully functioning, broad knowledge of Airline Operations.
• Experience in Ramp operations and supervision.
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet local airport requirements.

Aufgaben

• Actively coordinate with all Departments to maintain the station's on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and guide ground support performance to ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure all equipment including GSE is maintained and available for operation.
• Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and legally compliant service-conscious environment.
• Meet or exceed performance goals through decision making and staffing oversight.
• Maintain safe working environment and institute injury reduction programs.
• Coordinate with Departments to report status updates to leaders and employees.
• Forecast operational scenarios and drive performance against key metrics.
• Build shift bids and manage daily payroll and attendance.
• Administer labor contracts and minimize disputes.
