Job summary

Southwest Airlines seeks a Ramp Supervisor to lead Ramp Agents, ensuring aircraft arrive and depart on schedule while enforcing safety rules and keeping equipment ready for use.

You will manage scheduling, training, and daily reports, working with Airport Operations Teams to deliver safe, efficient, and on-time service. This role requires people leadership; U.S. citizenship or work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to enforce safety rules and train staff.
• Understanding of labor contracts and scheduling processes.

• Ability to manage multiple departments and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Actively coordinate with all Departments to maintain on-time performance, morale, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor ground support performance to ensure requirements are met.
• Maintain and ensure availability of all equipment including GSE.
• Oversee day-to-day airport operations to ensure safe, compliant service and meet metrics.
• Lead scheduling, training, daily reports, and attendance; manage overtime usage.
• Adhere to labor contracts and minimize disputes.
• Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
