Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a Ramp Agent to support ground handling operations in a fast-paced aviation environment. You will guide airplanes, load and unload baggage and cargo, operate equipment, and ensure safety throughout all tasks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Transport, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail in/out of aircraft bins, belt loader, or baggage carts safely.
• Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction.
• Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
• Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and coordinate with Wing Walkers for safety.
• Move luggage and cargo using belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push backs, and carts.
• Receive and record customer baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials as required.
• Complete paperwork and enter data into the company’s information system.
