Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a Ramp Manager to oversee all ramp operations at our Newark area locations. You will lead ramp teams, coordinate ground support, and ensure safe, on-time aircraft handling. A minimum of 5 years in ground handling with 2 years in management is preferred.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's in aviation or related field, excellent leadership, and strong communication skills to align with safety standards and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in ground handling or aviation operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in outdoor airport environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ramp operations, including aircraft arrival, departure, and turnaround activities.
• Lead ramp agents and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate ground support equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements to reduce delays.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and company policies.
• Communicate with flight crews and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports on ramp operations, safety audits, and staffing.
