Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a Ramp Manager to lead ramp operations, ensure safety standards, and optimize turnaround activities at Newark-area facilities. You will manage ramp teams, coordinate GSE usage, and report on performance and staffing requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ground handling or aviation operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, and a Bachelor's in aviation, logistics, or a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ground handling or aviation operations.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor's degree in aviation, logistics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise ramp operations, including aircraft arrival, departure, and turnaround activities.
• Oversee the team of ramp agents, ensuring efficient performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate the use of ground support equipment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and utilized.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate with flight crews, ground operations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present reports on ramp operations, safety audits, and staffing requirements.
