RTX’s RAM program is led onsite at our Tucson, AZ facility. The Program Director will oversee strategic direction, execution, and growth for RAM with US Navy and international partners. The role demands strong leadership across functions, P&L accountability, and deep experience in large, complex defense programs.

The position requires travel, security clearance eligibility, and collaboration with global teams to ensure on-time deliveries and program expansion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with 12+ years in a related field.
• Proven experience in leading large, complex US government and international programs.
• Experience with AOP development and execution and EACs.
• Leadership in production environments with direct P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Drive RAM program strategic direction aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead flawless production execution and meet contract deliverables.
• Partner with senior leaders across functions to deliver on AOP commitments and margin expansion.
• Interface with US/German government and industry counterparts; manage external partners.
• Develop and execute growth strategies for domestic and international opportunities.
• Oversee P&L, AOP, and financial metrics for RAM program.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation to ensure stability and success.
• Mentor and develop high-potential team members.
