Job summary

RTX is seeking a Guided Missile Round Pack (RAM) Production Program Manager for the RAM program, onsite at our Tucson, AZ facility. The role requires an active security clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Production Program/Project Management Experience
• Prior leadership/management experience
• Prior experience interfacing with customers, suppliers, and the internal customer/team

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive the execution of the RAM GMRP Production program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while successfully maintaining on-time delivery of contractual items and managing cost performance across the contracts.
• Execution Excellence: Lead the flawless execution of production efforts, meeting or exceeding all contract deliverables, performance metrics, and customer expectations.
• Collaboration: Partner supply chain, operations, engineering, contracts, and finance to deliver on AOP commitments and margin expansion.
• Customer Engagement: Interface with multiple US and German government and industry counterparts as well as US and foreign suppliers and partners, fostering trust and ensuring alignment on program objectives.
• Program Growth: Support strategy for GMRP production proposals for domestic and international growth opportunities, ensuring the long-term success of the RAM portfolio.
• Financial Accountability: Responsible for P&L, AOP and financial metrics for all RAM GMRP Firm Fixed Price contracts
• Risk Management: Lead risk identification and mitigation to ensure program stability and success.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Maintain and continuously grow a strong cross-functional team
• Ability to travel Domestically and Internationally.
