Job summary

Rodgers Builders, Inc. in Raleigh seeks a results-driven business development leader to drive market growth in the Raleigh triangle area.

You will own strategy, pursue opportunities from RFQ/RFP to interviews, and coordinate with Marketing and Operations to prepare compelling responses. You’ll cultivate new client relationships, monitor market trends in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Commercial sectors, and engage in ongoing client outreach including meals and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction or related industry.
• Experience drafting proposals and client communications.
• Resident of the Triangle area (Raleigh–Durham–RTP).
• Consultative sales experience selling services.
• Ability to draft professional interest letters and RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership oversight and coordination of project pursuits and RFQ/RFP responses.
• Assist Marketing with content for pre-solicitation materials.
• Conduct market research on targeted sectors and trends.
• Monitor client satisfaction and future construction plans.
• Cultivate new client relationships and coordinate engagement activities.
• Track pursuit progress and report results in Salesforce.
• Understand and promote preconstruction services offered.
