Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks a Business Development Manager to join the Raleigh-area team. You will lead project pursuits, develop proposals, and build strong client relationships across Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, Senior Living, Commercial and Civic sectors.

You will research market sectors, identify opportunities, and collaborate with marketing and operations to present compelling proposals. Travel across NC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred.
• Experience in proposals and client-facing business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project pursuits, including RFQs, RFPs and interview presentations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Superintendent teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
• Develop professional interest letters and proposal content tailored to prospective clients.
• Research market sectors, industry trends, upcoming projects and key clients.
• Identify and develop new client relationships and future project opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships alongside Operations leadership.
• Monitor client satisfaction and upcoming construction plans.
• Manage multiple project pursuits and track progress through CRM/Salesforce.
• Maintain understanding of preconstruction services (Design-Assist, Target Value Delivery, Prefabrication).
• Attend industry conferences, association events and client meetings to build relationships.
• Support community and client engagement initiatives.
• Track historical pursuit results to shape future strategies.
