Job summary

Cheyney University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Specialist to support fundraising operations, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Two years of hands-on experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge creating queries, exports, and reports.
• Experience supporting fundraising, advancement, or alumni operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential donor and alumni information with discretion.
• Effective communication skills and strong customer-service.
• Strong knowledge of Advancement Fundraising software Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve advancement operations, reporting efficiency, and data use.
• Configure and maintain system security, user permissions, and workflows in alignment with university policy and data privacy standards.
• Maintain documentation of data standards, business rules, and system processes.
• Coordinate system updates, enhancements, and vendor support with IT and Blackbaud.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of constituent, alumni, donor, and gift records in Raisers Edge.
• Perform gift processing, queries and report writing within Raisers Edge.
• Perform routine data audits, de-duplication, validation, and quality assurance reviews within Raisers Edge.
• Support compliance with donor intent, gift acceptance policies, and Commonwealth audit requirements.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for Advancement leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with University Finance on gift reconciliation and fiscal reporting.
• Provide data analysis to support institutional planning and fundraising strategy.
• Train staff on Raiser’s Edge functionality and reporting tools.
