Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railyard management or related field.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the MS Office suite of products.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the railyard, ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient environment.
• Actively participate in railyard activities, working with staff across operation areas.
• Lead the terminal to meet KPIs, including Lifts per Hour and Cost per Hour.
• Provide leadership to terminal staff and develop capabilities through coaching.
• Oversee terminal purchases and ensure expenditures stay within budget.
• Approve weekly time and attendance for payroll data.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to ensure staffing needs are met.
• Manage training and orientation for new employees.
• Provide regular terminal metrics and reports to management.
• Perform other administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned.
