Job summary

ConGlobal in the United States is seeking a Railyard Operations Manager to lead day-to-day terminal staff with emphasis on safety, performance, and productivity. You will coordinate railcar preparation, verify inbound/outbound train numbers, and supervise ramp crews to ensure smooth operations.

Open availability for day shift 6:00AM-4:00PM, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. You will identify operational challenges, coach staff on safety, and handle scheduling and administrative

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in railyard operations or a related field.
• Strong safety record with excellence in conducting and documenting safety observations.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks effectively and hold team members accountable.
• Experience managing shifts of 10–20 employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proven ability to monitor, analyze, and improve LPH (Lifts Per Hour) performance metrics.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the MS Office suite of products.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
• Open availability required, must be able to work Day shift 6:00AM-4:00PM Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railyard operations for safety, productivity, and efficiency.
• Prepare railcars for loading/unloading and verify train numbers.
• Manage ramp crew movements to maintain timely operations.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to keep workflow smooth.
