Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in railyard or similar logistics.
• Strong safety record with documented safety observations.
• Ability to delegate tasks and hold teams accountable.
• Experience managing shifts of 10–20 employees.
• Proven ability to monitor LPH (Lifts Per Hour) performance.
• Must pass pre-employment background, physical, and drug screen.
• Outdoor railyard work environment and weather exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railyard operations ensuring safety and productivity.
• Coordinate and prepare railcars for loading/unloading.
• Verify inbound/outbound train numbers for accuracy and compliance.
• Direct ramp crew movements to maintain timely operations.
• Identify challenges and implement solutions to sustain flow.
• Enforce safety regulations and coach staff.
• Oversee staff scheduling and shift coordination.
• Perform administrative duties including reporting and training.
• Maintain clear communication across teams.
