Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Utility Construction Management Associate to join our field operations. The role requires 100% travel with assignments that may last several weeks, and observers must ensure compliance with approved plans on railroad property.

Responsibilities include on-site observation of trenchless work, documentation of conditions, and timely reporting. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least 3 years rail or utility experience, plus a valid driver's license for rental

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AREMA standards.
• Understanding of general construction practices.
• Proficiency with email and text communications.

Responsibilities

• Observe utility installations across railroad property.
• On-site observation of trenchless construction within railroad right-of-way.
• Document work in accordance to approved plans and verify materials.
• Attend daily job briefings and discuss project requirements.
• Submit time and expenses; report progress and issues.
• Escalate items of non-compliance to management/engineers.
