Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Utility Construction Management Associate in Illinois to ensure third-party projects on client properties meet approved plans. You will observe trenchless work, document conditions, and maintain compliance with railroad utility agreements while communicating with field staff.

The role requires 3–5 years of railroad or utility experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AREMA standards.
• Knowledge of general construction practices.
• Proficiency with electronic communications including email and text.

Responsibilities

• Observe utility installations across railroad property.
• On-site observation of trenchless construction within railroad right-of-way.
• Document pre- and post-construction site conditions and maintenance of records.
• Attend railroad and contractor briefings and discuss project requirements.
• Submit time and expenses; daily inspection reports; escalate non-compliance as needed.
