Job summary

RailPros is seeking a Utility Construction Management Associate for part-time work with 100% travel nationwide. The role requires on-site observation of utility installations across railroad property and coordination with field personnel to ensure compliance with approved plans.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years railroad and/or utility experience, and may have prior managerial experience such as Manager, Track Maintenance; Signals Supervisor; Division

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AREMA standards and general construction practices.
• Proficiency in email/text communications for field updates.
• Experience coordinating with field personnel to ensure policy compliance.
• Knowledge of safety rules and railroad worksite etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Observe utility installations across railroad property and document findings.
• Perform on-site observation of trenchless construction within railroad right-of-way.
• Verify material layouts and maintain documentation of construction activities.
• Maintain active dialogue with on-site and off-site personnel; attend briefings.
• Submit daily inspection reports and escalate non-compliance to management.
