Job summary

IP Corporation in Pryor, OK is seeking a Railway Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient rail operations in the plant and rail yard. You will oversee railcar switching, inbound/outbound movements, and FRA regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of experience operating locomotives, Trackmobiles, or similar rail equipment.
  • Experience with rail switching operations and rail yard activities.
  • Working knowledge of FRA regulations and rail safety practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute railcar switching activities in the rail yard.
  • Manage inbound and outbound railcar movements with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead FRA compliance and rail safety programs site-wide.
  • Coordinate FRA-required training for rail personnel.
  • Conduct job briefings, audits, and inspections and address gaps.
  • Perform daily inspections of locomotives, railcars, brakes, and safety devices.
  • Provide backup support to the Materials Manager for scheduling and inventory.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability meeting FRA/OSHA/DOT requirements.
