Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to provide customer service and maintenance to Loram customers within a defined region. You will maintain unit uptime by servicing top-of-rail and gauge face lubricators and performing lubrication tasks according to guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, railroad safety training, and the ability to obtain a CDL. Strong communication, planning, and independent work skills are essential, with extensive travel likely.

Qualifications

• Maintain railroad safety training and certifications.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.

Responsibilities

• Service top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage inventory on maintenance vehicle and follow company processes.
• Plan work, develop schedules, anticipate problems and work independently.
• Process work orders, delivery tickets, warranty paperwork and returns.
• Build customer and supplier relations and meet customer expectations.
