Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to provide customer service and maintenance across a defined region, ensuring unit uptime and reliability for rail customers.

The role involves lubrication of rail equipment, adherence to railroad safety rules, and collaboration with Sales and Field teams. This position requires extensive travel and physical effort to service Loram equipment nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain railroad safety training and certifications.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role.
• 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate top of rail and gauge face units to guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage inventory on maintenance vehicle.
• Plan work, schedules, and anticipate problems to meet objectives.
• Process work orders, delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns.
• Build customer and supplier relations; work with Sales to meet expectations.
