Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to provide customer service and maintenance across a regional area. The role emphasizes uptime, safety, and rail equipment servicing, with pre-employment checks and continuous field work.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, railroad safety training, and the ability to obtain a CDL. Preferred are an associate degree and 1+ years in field service with customer interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain railroad safety training and certifications; ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate top-of-rail and gauge-face lubrication units per guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage inventory on maintenance vehicle and plan work to meet objectives.
• Process work orders, deliveries, warranty paperwork and returns.
• Build customer and supplier relations; work with Sales to meet expectations.
