Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to deliver customer service and lubrication/maintenance for Loram equipment within a defined region. Maintaining unit uptime aligns with customer satisfaction, fuel economy, and wheel/rail life.

The role involves servicing top of rail units, managing vehicle inventory, processing orders, and building customer relations with Sales to meet expectations. A high school diploma, CDL eligibility, and railroad safety training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ Equivalent
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• Pre-employment requirements including DOT Physical Exam, background check, eVerifile/eRailSafe.
• Familiarity with railroad safety and Loram operating rules.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.
• Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
• Manage inventory on maintenance vehicle and plan work based on tasks and schedules.
• Process work orders, delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns.
