Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician in Florida to safely repair railcars, read blueprints, and work with heavy equipment as part of a committed team. You will be trained on-site and gain practical skills for long-term growth in a hands-on environment.

Role requires attention to safety, willingness to learn, and ability to pass screenings. On-the-job training is provided; potential TWIC eligibility may apply based on location.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs.
• Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge.
• Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks.
• Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies.
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met.
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task.
