Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to safely repair railcars, applying basic mechanical skills and reading blueprints. The role emphasizes training on the job and strict safety practices on-site. You will weld, cut and gouge as part of routine repairs while adhering to ARS and customer quality standards.

No prior experience is required; paid training is available, and candidates must meet basic eligibility and pass screenings. This is full-time work located on-site in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training available; experience not required.
• May require valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs.
• Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge.
• Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks.
• Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies.
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met.
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task.
