Job summary

Transco Rail Services, a Marmon Rail Company, is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on tank cars in a safety-conscious environment. You will lead and contribute to repair tasks, conduct inspections, and support customers to ensure satisfaction.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use common hand tools. Travel up to 50% is required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on tank cars in accordance with current procedures.
• Conduct railcar inspections to ensure compliance.
• Provide customer support to meet expectations.
• Handle invoicing, inspection, and work-order information.
• Maintain applicable certifications and knowledge of AAR rules.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
