Job summary

Transco Rail Services is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on tank cars with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will inspect cars, follow current repair procedures, support customers, maintain records, and uphold certifications in accordance with AAR rules. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in all weather conditions are required. This role offers competitive hourly pay and Marmon benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Railcar Repair – follow current repair procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and perform repairs as needed.
• Support customers to meet satisfaction expectations.
• Complete invoicing, inspection, and work order information accurately.
• Maintain all required certifications and familiarity with AAR rules.
