Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on tank cars with a safety-first mindset. You will lead by example, follow current repair procedures, inspect cars, and support customers while keeping accurate work orders and documentation.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use common hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to use hand tools (pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets).
• Must complete railcar repairs and inspections.
• Strong customer relations skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to work in all weather and pass exams.

Responsibilities

• Railcar Repair - follow current repair procedures.
• Customer Support - meet customer expectations.
• Clerical - complete invoicing, inspection, work orders.
• Maintain certifications, adhere to AAR rules.
• Other tasks as assigned.
