Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician. You will conduct railcar repairs and inspections, lead with safety in mind, and support customers while maintaining documentation and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic railcar repairs.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (local, regional, overnight).

Responsibilities

• Railcar repair and maintenance using current procedures.
• Conduct railcar inspections for compliance and perform repairs as needed.
• Provide customer support to ensure satisfaction with work.
• Handle invoicing, inspections, and work-order information accurately.
• Maintain certifications and knowledge of AAR rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
