Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math.
• Must be able to pass and maintain required tests and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control train movements while switching railcars.
• Maintain safe loading/unloading operations at yards or plants.
• Read switching orders and communicate with engineers and dispatchers.
• Record car origin, destination, and cargo details.
• Assist with minor repairs and ensure equipment is ready for service.
