Job summary

Watco is seeking a conductor/switchman to control and coordinate train movements, switching railcars in yards, industrial plants, or similar locations to facilitate unloading and loading in a safe, efficient manner. This is a manual labor role requiring training in switching operations and safety procedures.

• Able to perform essential duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math.
• Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
• Supervises and coordinates the activities of train crews.
