Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Newark, NJ seeks a Construction Manager - Rail/Transit to lead on-site administration for major rail/transit projects, including rehabilitation and repair work, and supervise the Consultant’s Construction team.

You’ll run point on scope, budgets, estimating and schedules in a paperless environment. Ideally you hold a degree in construction, engineering or architecture (or relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Degree preferably in construction/engineering/architectural or related major.
• Experience in managing construction of major transit projects, including design-build projects.
• Project management scheduling and estimating, technical and project coordination skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and industry safety standards (OSHA).
• Maintain Roadway Worker Protection, OSHA, and other necessary training during the Project.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License throughout the life of the Project.
