Qualifications

• P.E. license is required.
• Familiarity with AREMA, IEEE, FCC, FRA, FTA and safety certification processes.
• Typical incumbent has 15 to 20 years of rail/transit experience, with 10 or more years focused on communications.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, integration, and commissioning of communications systems for rail and transit environments.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex communications projects and ensures interoperability with legacy infrastructure.
• Provides technical leadership during safety certification processes and acts as liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, and vendors.
