Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Systems Test Technician to perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and reporting on rail vehicle systems at our Carson, CA site.

The role requires reading schematics, using test instruments, and supporting installation and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of electrical testing experience, and be able to work shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical testing or related field.
• Must be able to work different shifts and overtime.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Generate reports on all routine tests and testing activities.
• Troubleshoot issues found during testing to identify root cause and make necessary repairs.
• Execute tests according to testing procedures and established processes.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wire lists and diagrams.
• Document and report any anomaly or failure found during test execution.
• Support installation and maintenance of electrical panels and components as needed.
