Transdev North America is seeking a Systems Test Engineer in Atwater, CA to evaluate complex systems, design test plans, and run test programs. The role focuses on improving verification methods, developing new tools, and ensuring reliable test results.

Candidates should have advanced engineering education and hands-on scripting for in-vehicle testing. Responsibilities include leading test workstreams, building dashboards, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience with system engineering principles including requirements definition and validation methods.
• Test scripting for in-vehicle test automation (C/C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink).
• Ability to interact with functional and technical counterparts to ensure tests meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Decompose system requirements to design test plans and verification strategies.
• Improve quality and coverage of system verification.
• Develop new test methods and tools to increase repeatability and efficiency.
• Create test frameworks including simulation-based and hardware-in-the-loop approaches.
• Lead vehicle and functional test workstreams and coordinate resources as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to the test team and communicate results with dashboards.
