Egis is seeking a Project Lead, Rail Systems for our Sacramento, CA office. The role leads engineering, construction, testing, and operational readiness to ensure successful project delivery in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong program leadership, overseeing signaling, power, and OT integration while coordinating across multiple teams. Hybrid/remote options available where business needs allow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 15+ years delivering rail, transportation, infrastructure, or complex systems programs with leadership.
• Proven experience managing large-scale programs with budget, schedule, and stakeholder responsibilities.
• Strong systems integration, interface management, and delivery of complex transportation systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery and integration of rail systems from design to handover.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety across multiple contracts.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations.
• Coordinate integration across signaling, communications, power, SCADA, OT, and infrastructure.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with clients, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and partners.
• Oversee commercial, technical, operational, and contractual decisions to delivery.
• Drive readiness, system acceptance, testing, and closeout activities.
