Job summary

Egis seeks a Project Manager, Signaling to join our Sacramento, CA office. You will lead the delivery of signaling and train control systems from design through testing, commissioning, and handover, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to meet project objectives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong railway signaling background, systems integration expertise, and proven success delivering safety-critical infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of signaling and train control systems throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate interfaces between signaling, telecommunications, rolling stock, operations, track, power, and civil engineering disciplines.
• Oversee integration of train control systems with interlocking, traffic management, communications, train detection, and operational control systems.
• Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and technical stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Lead testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and system handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, safety assurance processes, and project specifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

10+ years of experience in railway signaling, train control, or rail systems project delivery
