Job summary

Trinity Industries is seeking a Lead Rail Site Coordinator to provide operational leadership across multiple sites, improving process efficiency and service reliability. You will train staff, govern SOPs, and coordinate cross-site initiatives to ensure seamless network flow.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in rail or logistics coordination, strong knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Transportation Management Systems, and a solid grasp of rail regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of rail coordination or logistics coordination experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics/transportation or related field or equivalent.
• Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and Transportation Management Systems; knowledge of rail regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination between sites to maintain network fluidity.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across locations.
• Train new hires and mentor coordinators on advanced processes.
• Establish and maintain backup coverage plans for critical desks.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and service reliability.
• Act as liaison for cross-site communication and special projects.
• Support supervisory responsibilities during out-of-office needs.
