Job summary

RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries, seeks a Lead Rail Site Coordinator in Texas to drive cross-site coordination and SOP governance. You will train coordinators, establish backup coverage, and lead initiatives to boost efficiency and reliability in rail operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in rail or logistics coordination, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong SAP/Microsoft Office/Transportation Management Systems skills, plus regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in rail coordination operations or logistics coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and logistics operations experience.
  • Above average proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Transportation Management Systems.
  • Deep knowledge of rail industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee coordination between multiple sites to maintain network fluidity.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across locations.
  • Train new hires and mentor coordinators on advanced processes.
  • Establish and maintain backup coverage plans for critical desks.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and service reliability.
  • Act as liaison for cross-site communication and special projects.
  • Support supervisory responsibilities as needed during out of office need.

Education

Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and logistics operations experience

position provides operational leadership for process improvement, SOP governance, and cross-site
coordination and will act as a key resource for training and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
